Pre-Press Department

Our Pre-press department boasts a comprehensive range of hi-tech equipment. At the hub of our system is the AGFA ApogeeX PDF workflow server with its powerful adobe print engine RIP, capable of processing complex transparent PDF files.

You can supply us with your own hi-res PDF files or supply us the source files for us to produce PDF files, we have expertise in all the major software packages, whether it be last minute amendments or complex photo retouching - we can do it.

Files can be sent to us via CD or DVD, alternatively files can be packaged as ZIP or SEA and emailed or posted on an FTP site. Midas can provide an FTP area for you on our own servers, you will need to contact us to arrange this service.

Our workflow is calibrated to the ISO12647-2 (FOGRA 27-31L) standards, we constantly monitor and adjust our proofs, plates and printed output to maintain optimum results.
